Billionaire Len Blavatnik Wants to Put The Old Time Warner Back Together

LEN BLAVATNIK
Worth about $20 billion, Len Blavatnik seems like he's trying to put some of the old Time Warner back together again. First back in 2011 he spent $3.3 billion to buy Warner Music Group, then two months ago he was part of a group that made an almost $2 billion offer for Time Inc and now according to the NY Post he wants a movie studio and he would love that studio to be Warner Bros Entertainment. Both Time Inc and Warner Music Group were part of Time Warner until they were sold/spun off. Warner Bros which is still part of the media giant may be out of Mr. Blavatnik's reach as TimeWarner is in the process of being taken over by AT&T in an $85 billion deal expected to close later on this year. We don't see AT&T letting go off the iconic film studio at all. It is rich with content which is an area AT&T wants to become a dominant player in, especially with its ambitious mobile video plans.
