New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA, January 27, 2017 -- Upworthy, the mission-driven media company, and GOOD Worldwide Inc., a global media brand and social impact company, today announced a merger that positions the new entity as the leader in social good media and consulting.
The combined company will be the go to partner for brands that want to do well by doing good. By bringing together the talent and resources of Upworthy’s, storytelling, and branded content teams with GOOD’s media, consultancy, and agency experience, the merger offers brands apartner that specializes in helping organizations engage with purpose, emotional intelligence, and authenticity to a generation that cares deeply about all three.

Ben Goldhirsh and Max Schorr will remain co-CEOs of GOOD Worldwide Inc. and Eli Pariser will join as President.
