Conde Nast Beefs Up Its Events and Experiences Business With Two Acquisitions

Conde Nast which has been undergoing a makeover  at the hands of Chief Business Officer Jim Norton that will lead to the elimination of about 100 jobs, is also beefing up its events and experiences business with two key acquisitions. The company says it has acquired Ribyt an event ticketing platform and Pop2Life an experiential agency. Though no financial terms were disclosed, whatever Conde spent must have been worth it because CEO Bob Sauerberg says the two companies will allow Conde to significantly expand its roster of bespoke events. Conde's newly crowned Chief Experience Officer Josh Stinchcomb will watch over the companies.

Said Bob Sauerberg:
“Condé Nast is known for creating some of the most immersive experiences that truly capture the cultural zeitgeist. And with Pop2Life and Ribyt, we can double down on those efforts and bring live experiences to a new generation of consumers like never before.”
