HEARST JUST WANTS TO BE KNOWN AS WHAT EVERYONE HAS ALWAYS CALLED IT ANYWAY, "HEARST"

Hearst Corporation in an effort to simplify its communications, has decided to drop the word "corporation" from its name being that everyone else did a long time ago. We guess they just wanted to make it official on paper?

said Hearst vp of communications Paul Luthringer:

We’ve simplified our communications: As one of the nation’s largest diversified media, information and services companies with more than 360 businesses, all of our properties now reflect this trade name change. So going forward, when referring to us, simply ‘Hearst’ is correct.
