In 2,048 Words, Here is How Incoming Times Magazine Editor Jake Silverstein Was Seduced

CapitalNewYork.com's Joe Pompeo posted a 2,048 word piece on Incoming New York Times Magazine Editor Jake Silverstein. The feature touched on Mr. Silverstein's past work and one time lack of editorial experience, his unhealthy BBQ bingeing and the point when New York Times Editor in Chief Jill Abramson began to seduce Mr. Silverstein over coffee into leaving his cliche Texas lifestyle complete with a 15 year old Toyota Tacoma, to live a cliche New York City lifestyle complete with traffic jams and $10 sandwiches from Dean and Deluca. The lengthy piece also touched on how the current legal battle between The New York Times and Texas Monthly owner Emmis Communications may put added pressure on Mr. Silverstein to deliver at the Times.
