Bloomberg Markets Dismisses 14 in Overhaul

Former Chief Content Officer Josh Tyrangiel warned the Bloomberg Markets team that changes were coming and since then changes have landed at the magazine. First the company cut the frequency of the publication from 11 times a year to just 6. And now because of this shift, 14 people are losing their jobs today according to Talking Biz News:
Editors Joel Weber, Stryker McGuire and Jon Asmundsson are remaining and working on a prototype of the news magazine and prepare the launch of a new magazine next year. Among the senior writers at the magazine, William Mellor in Sydney, Australia, Anthony Effinger in Portland and David Evans in Los Angeles are leaving Bloomberg. The other six senior writers — Stephanie Baker in London, Jeremy Kahn in London, Yoolim Lee in Singapore, John Lippert in Chicago, Edward Robinson in Longon and Michael Smith in Rio De Janeiro — are staying.
