Cheddar TV Opening Ground Floor Studio In Manhattan

Former Buzzfeed COO turned former Daily Mail North America CEO Jon Steinberg is expanding his business video venture Cheddar TV which launched earlier this year. Come tomorrow, Cheddar will move to brand new studios on the ground floor of the Flatiron Building in Manhattan. Back in Spring the company erected a paywall around its content charging $6.99 for monthly subscriptions. To date the company has revenues of $1.6 million and is looking to get its content onto more platforms.

"My bet is that all of these platforms are going to turn to the Time Warners and say, 'the cable news channels are charging us too much, what they need is unrestricted content."
