Snapchat Pushes Publisher Content All The Way to The Bottom, Gives User Content Top Billing

Some publishers who were part of the mad dash to Snapchat Discover may not be happy with the fact that the company made some changes to its app that now pushes their content below the content of users on the 'Stories' page which is where a huge chunk of traffic to 'Discover' comes from. Publisher content is now buried so deep below user content that users could scroll forever before coming across content from a publisher. This change could reduce traffic and ad revenue for publishers which is no good.
Moving publisher content down seems to be a clear message that Snapchat sees more value in user Stories than what its publishing partners are creating.
