Following earlier news today that Conde Nast is killing Self magazine in print, W magazine which has also been under the slimming knife is losing its executive beauty director, Jane Larkworthy. Ms. Larkworthy won't be replaced by an individual. Instead she will be replaced by individuals in the form of contributors who will serve up W's beauty content going forward. In addition, the magazine also let go three additional employees according to WWD. W currently publishes 10 times a year and chances are that will soon change due to the reduction in staff followed by some belt tightening ordered up by CEO Bob Sauerberg.
