Women's Wear Daily Installs New Editor in Chief

At Women's Wear Daily (WWD) editorial power is being handed off to a new editor in chief Miles Socha. Mr. Socha who is the executive editor for Europe is replacing Edward Nardoza who is retiring after 25 years as EIC. Mr. Nardoza will oversee the transition through the end of January and then head off into retirement even though there is no such thing as being retired anymore.

Said Mr. Nardoza:
“It is difficult to leave my WWD family, particularly at such an exciting time with momentum building across the entire WWD organization,” Nardoza said. “The time has come for a plan Jay and I have discussed for the past year, and we’ve got the right leader in place for the future. It feels good to leave my post in the hands of a journalist as capable as Miles, with whom I’ve worked side-by-side for nearly two decades. I know he and the newsroom of talented, dedicated journalists will successfully steer WWD for years to come.”
