Derek Jeter's Player's Tribune Raises $40 Million, He Uses The Word "Scale" To Describe Future Plans

There has been talk lately that the new media bubble is bursting and a shake up is looming. But if Derek Jeter's website 'Player's Tribune' is any indication, that talk may be premature. Player's Tribune' which the former Yankees star launched after he retired has been an instant success out the gate and that success has lead to $40 million raised in new financing to build thing up even more. This new funding which came from pro athletes, Alphabet Inc, and venture capital firm IVP brings TPT's funding total to almost $60 million.
