It could just be one big coincidence, but Time Inc which has been feverishly reworking its innards to become a formidable digital media player on the vast digital field landed in the top ten of Comscore's monthly multi platform  audience report for the first time ever. Yeah that's a big deal for a few reasons. The first one is that, remember just a line or two above when we said the company has been feverishly reworking its innards to become a formidable digital player? Well this is a big sign that the effort is working. The company landed in the top 10 because its audiences grew 13% over the last 12 months which landed them the number ten spot. It also means that this report could either attract more potential buyers for the company, or give the board pause on selling the company and choosing instead to continue going it alone on the path being lead by CEO Rich Battista and COO Jen Wong. Or this can be used to get interested parties to sweeten their offers. After all, it is believed the board will sell, if substantially higher offers above the almost $2 billion it was offered two months ago comes in.

For example, TravelandLeisure.com doubled since December 2015, growing by four million visitors, driven by destination guides and service content for travel enthusiasts. The strong growth in mobile and traffic rankings for InStyle.com, FoodandWine.com and Essence.com complements the strength we already have in news, entertainment and sports.
