At Time Inc 2017 is off to a horrible start for 30 people who were eliminated today. Apparently things inside the company have not been smooth since the big restructuring in the upper echelons of management and even more changes were announced by company chief revenue officer Brad Elders. There is now two group presidents of sales Karen Kovacs and Greg Schumann who will work across all the brands. It was was that announcement that lead to the 30 people being eliminated including Ron King, senior vice president of fashion, multicultural and shelter and and Kevin Martinez vice president, group sales director for InStyle and StyleWatch. These layoffs comes as Time Inc's board is said to be reviewing takeover offers from known and unknown prospects. It also follows yesterday's news about the company entering the top ten on ComScores' multi-platform digital ranking.
