New York Times is Bringing Digital to Print in Front Pages Redo

Digital subscriptions are booming at The New York Times right now. Donald Trump has been helping the paper bring in new subscribers every time he tweets about them according to executive editor Dean Baquet. But the paper seems to be taking new steps to showcase its digital offerings to its print readers by adding digital content to the two front print pages of the paper.  Its an effort to showcase to print readers what the paper is doing on the digital side.

The Wrap reports:
Changes to the paper, as part of the redesign, include a behind-the-scenes look at the paper’s journalism, a daily memorable headline from archives, the most popular posts from across NYTimes.com, facts and quotes of the day, tips for daily life and even movie recommendations.
