The Huffington Post Rebrands as "HUFFPOST", Launches New Website

In an effort to reflect the departure of its founder Arianna Huffington,  The Huffington Post has officially rebranded as "HuffPost" which is what we all call it anyway. With a new editor in chief and more and more younger people getting their news via social media, this is also a play to relate to that demo with a shorter name and refreshed image. The website also has a new logo and website which gives off a slight tabloid vibe at the top.

said HuffPost Editor in Chief Lydia Polgreen:
As we launch a brand-new name and look for HuffPost, I’ve been thinking a lot about these questions. How can we become better listeners? How can we serve you, our audience, better? We’re doubling down on our bold, splashy style, and serving up the news with a sense of humor, outrage and empathy. We’re also taking the suggestion of our audience across the globe and formally adopting the shorter name they’ve called us for years: HuffPost.
