When Anna Wintour was given the added title and power of Artistic Director, one of the first things she did was shake up shopping magazine Lucky. She brought in one of her sweethearts Eva Chen to take the reigns and overhaul the magazine. But according to a short scoop published late last night via nypost.com, the magazine was said to be shutting down to perhaps focus on a web only strategy. But the scoop was based on gossipers in so called media circles. Eva Chen and the top suit at Conde Nast immediately killed the rumors even calling them recycled from years ago. Both Conde CEO Chuck Townsend and President Bob Sauerberg are happy with the magazine. So for now, Lucky is staying put.
