Yahoo! Beauty Boss Bobbi Brown is Building Her Beauty Team, Adds Allure's Britt Aboutaleb as Her Number Two

Cosmetics queen Bobbi Brown who was named to head Yahoo! Beauty as Editor in Chief back in April, has made her first major hire. Ms. Brown has reached into Allure and nabbed Britt Aboutaleb to be her number two as Managing Editor. Ms. Aboutaleb will basically be running the show, bringing Ms. Brown's editorial vision to life.

“Britt Aboutaleb is smart, innovative, and an amazing addition to the Yahoo Beauty team,” Brown said. For her part, Aboutaleb, who founded beauty-focused site Byrdie.com and worked as fashion news editor at elle.com and editor in chief of Fashionista.com, said: “I’ve worked in digital startups and in traditional print, but what’s awesome about Yahoo is the chance to work in a startup atmosphere on a much larger scale.”
