During a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, former Sony CEO turned Time Inc board member Sir. Howard Stringer walked through his lengthy career past. He talked about his time at Sony and how Apple was able to knock Sony off its perch as the dominant consumer electronics brand. He also talked about his new gig as a board member of a the now stand alone Time Inc. He was sure to mention that he was still new to the board, and was soon to attend just his second meeting, but also said that the whole thing was tricky and that he isn't sure the company will be able to pull it.
